This is the travel story of a small-in-number but mighty-in-voice women's barbershop chorus. We are Chesapeake Harmony Chorus.
Ah... you're thinkin'.... what? Who? Let me be tellin' you wee bit about us. Our chorus is one of many Sweet Adelines International choruses. Chartered in 1998, we have a home base in the Severna Park-Millersville area of Maryland where we rehearse weekly. Our music is traditional barbershop arrangements. Music is our specialty. But not our only one... we are known to enjoy ourselves as we entertain our audiences.
Who are our audiences, you're askin'? Lots of local folks in the Annapolis area here in Maryland. We have hosted teas, entertained at wedding receptions and retirement celebrations, delivered singing Valentines, performed for a variety of groups at Christmastime, and lots more. And now we head off to the Emerald Isle, to entertain international audiences at the 26th annual Irish Association of Barbershop Singers convention. Follow us and see where our adventures take us.
